I’ve been hearing of moms who do not enjoy the privilege of having to homeschool their children during this Coronavirus shutdown. I know it’s a big job for those of you who have younger students that need lots of help. I just have 3 high schoolers that can work on their own with a few reminders. But a few years ago I had a child that needed tutoring every evening for 4 to 5 hour so I know this homeschooling can be tough.
Even with high schoolers, I had to tell them the other day that they needed to get all their tests finished then there would be a reward. One of the girls loves animals so she got to spend some time watching the Philadelphia zoo videos. The others love Adventures in Odessey so they chose to listen to that.
So I have looked into a lot of online sites that you can use for free in the next few weeks. No it won’t take the place of homeschooling but maybe you can use it as a reward or as free time activities.
To start your Homeschooling day you can go to Facebook and look up Joe’n Fern Ebersole. Fern is putting on videos everyday with Bible stories, songs, and other stories to entertain your children.
