One of my favorite parks is the Grand Teton National Park.  There are very few places that have such awesome mountains. It is not as big as some parks but it is very big in its beauty.

When you drive out of Yellowstone National Park on the south side you automatically drive into the Grand Teton Park. The drive down the highway with the mountains on your right is a beautiful drive.

We had quickly drove through this park before and I was looking forward to seeing it again with a little more time to look around.

We enjoyed seeing the mountains get closer and closer. Then we took a road into the park and felt like we were driving right into the mountains.

Make sure you take a drive to Jenny lake as the mountains and the lake together are just awesome.

 

 

There are bike trails all through the park that are wide and paved. You can even ride the whole way down to Jackson, WY.

The meadows in front of the mountains are very beautiful. We had a picnic there and it made you feel like you could just sit there and view the mountains for hours.

It would have been nice to hike more and spend more time viewing the beauty but we were ready to head to the next National Park.
