One of the favorite things to play with at our house is Gunk. It is soft wobbly stuff and it is hard to describe. Maybe it is just gunky!

It is easy to make and with supervision even preschoolers could make it. It only takes a few minutes to make and will provide hours of fun. Even adults enjoy playing with it.

Gunk

2 cups Elmers white glue ( off brands work good too and four 4 oz bottles are enough)

1 1/2 cups water

5-8 drops food coloring

2 tsp. Borax

1 cup water

Mix the glue and 1 1/2 cups water together. Add food coloring in whatever color you want.

Mix Borax and 1 cup water in a small bowl. Slowly add and stir borax mixture into glue mixture. You will have to use you hands to mix it thoroughly.

Let sit a few minutes until it is no longer watery.

Store in an airtight container in the frig.

Have fun rolling it out with a rolling pin and use cookie cutters to make pretend cookies. Put a straw in it and see who can get the biggest bubble.
