I needed a few more cookies for a gathering so I made a favorite that I knew would get ate.  Most folks love a good fresh Peanut Butter Blossom cookies.

Peanut Butter Blossoms

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp milk

1 3/4cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

Cream shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add brown sugar and white sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and milk. Add dry ingredients and mix well.  Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Top with Hershey kiss. Makes 2-3 dozen.
