I was looking for some pre baked chicken tenders for some quick lunches. We like to make chicken wraps and I thought having some tenders on hand would make for some easy meals.
I was not able to find anything that suited me but I was able to get some boneless skinless chicken thighs. They were only .69 a pound so I decided for that price I could make my own tenders.
First I sliced the chicken in thin strips. This is easier to do if you have them partially frozen. I then laid them on cookie sheets and put some season salt and garlic salt on them.
I baked them at 375 degrees in the oven for 30 minutes. When I took them out, I am sure that I could have gotten rid of a whole pan if I would have been willing to have them eaten right away.
I packaged them in meal sized zip lock bags and put them in the freezer. I was also able to get a pint of chicken broth from them. Now we will know what to have for a quick lunch.
