When I think of Tupperware, not only do I think of beautiful colored bowls but it brings back memories of growing up.
We had an older couple in our neighborhood who had sold Tupperware for years. It was great fun if you would be allowed to be big and go to one of their parties. You knew you would have a great evening.
Mom had lots of Tupperware and I always wondered how people survived without it. What would you do without a Fix n Mix bowl when you were making bread, freezing corn, or getting ready for a big supper? You could never have too many large bowls.
And where would you store all those good homemade cookies, bars, and pies if you didn’t have Tupperware? The boxes are so nice to fill and stick in the freezer for later use.
Lately I am finding that the lovely Tupperware that I got 25 years ago is cracking one by one. So now I am getting lots of beautiful new pieces since Tupperware is still replaceable. Don’t throw out that cracked lid or container as you can get a new one free.
I love all my Tupperware but one of my most used pieces is the mix n stor 8 cup measuring bowl. I have three of those and they are so handy.
When I was little I dreamed of being big and selling Tupperware. But you know, life gets busy and sometimes you forget about those dreams. But now having five preschoolers is in the past and I will soon be grandma so I decided that maybe I am big enough to sell Tupperware!
